Ryan Song is an Electronic Pop Rebel figure in the making!

Ryan Song is an Electronic Pop Rebel in the making. Based in Amsterdam, he blends electronic pop, dance and R&B with strong melodies, expressive vocals and modern electronic production. His music explores identity, cultural difference, and the freedom to become unapologetically yourself.

Born in China, Ryan developed his sound through his studies at ArtEZ Popacademie in 2019, where he began shaping a distinctive approach to electronic pop, soulful R&B, dance and bass-driven sounds. He draws inspiration from artists such as The Weeknd, Beyoncé and Charlie Puth. His live performances bring these sounds together with movement and visual performance, creating an energetic and expressive experience. His previous EP, ABUSIVE, has surpassed one million streams on Spotify and led to appearances on Dutch national television, including SBS6.

In 2026, Ryan became a semi-finalist in the San Marino Song Contest with “BREAK THE CAGE”, opening a new chapter in his artistic journey. His upcoming album, BREAK THE CAGE, is set for release in 2027, exploring the invisible cages created by social expectations, cultural identity, and the pressure to become someone else.
